FIA WEC
The FIA World Endurance Championship was first created in 2012 and is hosted by a series of much-loved and legendary circuits such as Sebring, Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Fuji and Bahrain. It includes the Hypercar, LMGTE Pro, LMP2 and LMGTE Am categories.
The WEC provides a unique setting for teams, drivers and partners. It guarantees sporting equality and ensures that costs stay under control. It provides car manufacturers with a global platform to present their latest road-oriented developments. It also allows chassis manufacturers and independent motorists to compete at the highest level. Drivers have to show their talents throughout the season, from the shortest race (6 hours) to the 24 Hours of Le Mans which is both the longest of the races and the high point of the championship season.
