ALMS

The Asian Le Mans Series (previously known as the Japan Le Mans Challenge) was created in 2009 and carries the torch for the spirit of Endurance racing and Le Mans in Asia. The championship involves highly competitive races on world class circuits, and it is getting bigger each year. It involves some of the world’s best endurance race teams along with some or the continent’s most exciting new talents. The Asian Le Mans Series is also the perfect training ground for those who want to climb to the heights of endurance racing. The championship covers the LMP2, LMP3 and GT3 categories.

The Asian Le Mans Series keeps to the 24 Hours of Le Mans spirit, its professional and amateur drivers compete in a series of four-hour endurance races.

Just like the ELMS, the Asian Le Mans Series also provides opportunities for its teams to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. These invitations are based on the number of cars registered for each category. Consequently, as many as seven invitations to compete in that greatest of all endurance races can be up for grabs at the end of each season.
